The Wednesday evening midweek team hosted Millwood on Wednesday 3rd June, and their fine start to the season with an 80 shot, 116-36 mauling of their visitors, to record a fourth straight victory.
Whilst all four rinks ran out convincing winners, leading the way was Club Captain Paul Marks' rink. With Matthew Gershenson and Ben Harris literally 'leading from the front' they raced into a 22-0 shot lead after only eight ends, before eventually running out 37-8 winners.
Alun Jones' and Ritchie Janes' rinks both posted comfortable 20 shot wins. Indeed as the shone and the shots racked up rumour abounded that even Club President Hugh Meddins was seen to break out in a broad smile, as he turned his arm over for the first time this season!!.
The scoring was rounded off by veteran Neil Giles' rink posting a relatively narrower 11 shot win, as Dinas collected all 14 points on offer.
Four wins out of four is an excellent start to the Munro Cup season, but with a visit to Barry Romilly next up, there will undoubtedly be tougher challenges ahead.
