The midweek team made the short journey to Cadoxton on Wednesday 20th May, and came away with a handsome 63 shot (96-33) victory, to continue their excellent start to this season's Munro Cup campaign.

Captain for the night Chris Bates was delighted to see Richard and Hector had sorted out their travel plans, and Dinas were able to start the match with a full complement of eager and enthusiastic players.

It didn't take the visitors long to establish the upper hand, on a heavy and bobbly green, and after six of the scheduled 18 ends they had moved into a 31 to 12, 19 shot lead that they never looked like relinquishing.

With John Follon on fine form, and with David Vowles playing a rare role as skip, it was Vowles' rink that took the nights 'diddler fund' with an impressive 29-8 rink win.

Not to be outdone the other three rinks all posted victories by 12 shots or more as Dinas cantered home to collect  a well deserved 14 points and make it three wins out of three so far this season.
